Our Summer Place was born from Mrs. Zatera Spencer’s wish to create something meaningful for her family—a way to set aside resources for a beautiful summer place, a memorable vacation, and time together.
The beginning

That personal dream grew into something larger: a place where individuals could experience safety, friendship, choice, and their own reasons to look forward to tomorrow.
For many years, Mrs. Zatera has made an impact across the community. Her work is grounded in seeing the whole person—not a diagnosis, a file, or a limitation—and building support around the life they want to live.
